I decided to use 1/2" aluminum angle to trim in the aluminum strips. On the interior I went with the full width of the angle so I had to anneal the aluminum to make the radius bends.

I made a jig to set each screw hole 6" apart and to insure I had a final screw location 1" from each end. I then countersunk each hole and used stainless steel screws to secure the trim. This time there are only two pieces, the hinge side and the longer annealed trim piece. The annealed piece goes in first, then measure, cut, and fit the hinge section.
