FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                          July 2, 2007

Masterpiece Comics capitalizes on critical, market success with ambitious fourth title

Fall launch sees star-crossed lovers sucked into vampire world of Full Moon Craze

GLENDALE, AZ – Masterpiece Comics today announced the launch of their fourth title, the horror series Full Moon Craze. In a world of fly-by-night independent comic book companies, Masterpiece has begun to stand out. They followed their graphic novel Rushmore with a pair of critical hits: the series Fireblast, Adventures in the 30th Century, and the big-selling mini-series Wild Boys. Now owner/writer Ace Masters and his creative team intend to surpass the company’s previous success with a story that will be more that just their fourth title. Full Moon Craze will be a full-color, 32-page, monthly publication, the first issue of which will be available for pre-order in July 2007 through Previews Catalogue. But Masterpiece Comics is actually a subsidiary of the entertainment company Rebel Dawn Creative Forces (RDCF), which has bigger plans for the story in the near future.

For Ace Masters, whether it’s from entertainment company RDCF, or comic book publisher Masterpiece Comics, whatever form it takes, story is everything. “We just have a story-telling ethic,” says Masters of their success so far. “It’s not about throwing something out there and seeing what sticks. We’re committed to telling good stories, and I think as a result of that, fans are starting to be committed to us.”

In Full Moon Craze, star crossed lovers Angel Black and Paulina stumble into Cresent Cove, a mystical realm that exists on the earthly plane only one night a year. The Vampire Lord, Murd, ruler of Cresent Cove, kidnaps Paulina with the intent of making her his new wife. Angel, hell bent on rescuing Paulina, is suddenly sucked into a millennium-old war between vampires and werewolves. The werewolves believe he is their foretold savior. But is he?
