Guido and Zelda

We have two cats, named Guido and Zelda

Guido appeared three years ago. He was a stray, and was so friendly that we had to adopt him. He's kind of shy, and didn't want his picture taken. Right :-)

We rescued Zelda from the pound. She immediately came down with a respiratory infection that required her being at the Vet for 2 days. When she came home, she gave it to Guido, who almost died from it and spent 7 days at the Vet on intravenous medications!

Guido and Zelda have their own favorite Web pages!

Here's one they like!... Pet Pages

Former "First Cat" Socks had a web site. Alas, it is no more. The first time Guido heard it he bolted upright, staring at the computer, trying to figure out if there was a cat trapped inside!...

And one that they really don't like!

Update! About a year ago (Fall, 2001), a black cat appeared on our back porch. It looked pitiful and starving, but was terrified of us. Tom started feeding it every day. It got it's health back, but is still so nervous that Tom can only get within about a foot of it. This spring (2002) a kitten appeared! We don't think its related to the other cat (since the black cat never looked pregnant, and we've never seen "her" nurse it. So now we have two guests at the back porch for breakfast and dinner every day!

New Update May 15, 2003! See the "kitten" below? Well, the "kitten" now has four (oops - make that five!) kittens of her own (and our guess is that the black cat should now be called "Daddy").

Chow Time! (Note - the chalk line keeps ants from the cat food!)

Keeping each other warm:

The outdoor cats sometimes have visitors! Pictures will be added as obtained.

Yep! An opossum in Van Nuys!

and a raccoon, too! :-)

I want your feedback! Please send email to: Tom, Pegi, Guido, or Zelda.

That's it for now. More to come. I guarantee it.
