Tom has extensive experience as a Technical Writer and as manager of a Technical Publications department. He is proficient with most of the commonly-used word processing, graphic creation and manipulation, and document preparation programs. He is totally cross-platform, comfortable with both Windows and Mac machines and operating systems.

FileMaker Pro Database Development

Tom develops databases using FileMaker Pro. These databases run the gamut from reasonably straightforward (maintaining a Resource Person's List for a computer users' group) to complex (a fully relational solution that handles customer tracking, order generation, and commission reconciliation for a wholesale broker in the Gift and Home Decor field).

Tom is a member of FMDiSC (FileMaker Developers in Southern California), a group of professional FileMaker developers.
