| At the age of six to eight months an infant's ability to accurately accommodate or focus their eyes at various distances should be completely developed and both eyes should focus equally. The child should continue to show more interest in watching distance objects. Their eyes should continue to become more mobile independent of head movement. At this age, the infant should also spend more time watching activities and objects around them including their hands, feet, food, bottle, and toys.
