Welcome to Barefoot Hoofcare! This site is a work in progress and we are preparing to upload a number of hoof case studies with pictures.
Check back in July for some major changes to the site!

"Horses are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

| Mustangs grazing in Cold Creek, Nevada. |
The picture above was taken while Frank was visiting wild horse
country in Nevada. These were two of a small band of wild mustangs who live in this rough terrain, grazing on dry grasses
all day and covering many miles to find water. Their hooves were a modern-day inspiration. No shoes required!
Thanks to a low-carb diet and daily movement over rock-hard terrain, their hooves are honed to perfection by nature.
This is the model Toby tries to obtain - but because most domestic horses don't live in these conditions, he needs your help!!

Here are Toby and Lauren riding with Buck Brannaman at McGinnis
Meadows Ranch in Montana last August. Toby rode in a horsemanship clinic every morning, and learned how to rope
cows in the afternoon. Buck Brannaman is not only a master of natural horsemanship (he inspired the writing
of the book and screenplay for "The Horse Whisperer") he is an incredible gentleman who entertains and inspires while
he teaches. Buck studied with Tom and Bill Dorrence, and Ray Hunt, among others, and his wisdom and talent with horses
is simply amazing. For more on Buck or to buy his excellent books or videos, visit www.Brannaman.com. As Buck says, "Horses and life. It's all the same to me."
