North Carolina Colors Outshine Tennessee? (gallery posted 10/21/08)

Monday, 10/20/08, I did a 17 mile hike from Clingman's Dome in the Smokies down to Elkmont via the Appalachian Trail (AT) across Siler's Bald and down Miry Ridge and Jake's Creek trails.  The ridgeline walking and clear weather gave me great views of both TN and NC fall colors.  I think the NC side is prettier in this area.  What do you think?

Al says...."I strongly suggest viewing landscape photos as full-screen slideshows instead of reduced size images.  You'll always have the option to select slideshow views from my SmugMug photo galleries.  Just look for the SLIDESHOW button near the top right of  your window when you open the photo gallery.  Dial-up users may find slideshows load too slowly."
