Welcome to my adventure! As many of my friends and family know, I was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis
in March of 2005, and had a stem cell transplant on October 31, 2008 (which unfortunately failed), and will had a second transplant
on March 27, 2009 (which unfortunately failed), and then had a third transplant June 26, 2009. I have have been
taken out of the safe and comfortable life I have known. I am on a journey to places unknown, and if you want to
follow along, check in to my website every now and then, and see where it goes! I could use your interest, your love,
and your support along the way!
The purpose of my website is to keep my family and friends up to date with my medical condition and
let you all know how the Colorado Rileys are getting along. I also want it to be a place that other people with MF might
find some information that gives them hope and strength, both physically and spiritually. I want to carry on in the
steps of John Howarth, Amy Neiman and Julie Weedon, who, through their websites continually give me much encouragement.
I want everyone to know we are not alone in this world. God loves us so much that he sent
His son Jesus Christ to earth to teach us how to live for God, and to sacrifice His life on a cross, taking our sins
with him. He was resurrected and is now preparing a place for christians in heaven. That is the good news
I want you all to know! If you want to know more call me, send me an email, or go to the Golden church of Christ website
(in "My Favorite Links" page) for an on-line bible study!
God will help us through our trials, as Paul says in Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
