I lit all these close ups with a chinese latern on a boom arm. This made it easy to swing the light into just the right position quickly. |

I built the light myself and the crew usually teases me about the contrapion but as you can see it throws a beautiful light. |

In preproduction I created a distressed look for these anxious boardroom scenes in the camera using filters and internal camera parameters. But in the end it was decided not to commit to a look until post, other than what I could do with lighting. |

For these "hero scenes" I painted the camera to produce strong, vigorious colors. |
