The Democratic presidential candidate debates are getting quite a bit of press coverage right now. They are mostly sane people, though, so I am not as concerned about listening to their individual political positions right now.

The Republican candidates are the ones who scare the hell out of me, as do their crazy followers. It is going to take a lot for America to recover from the insanity of the Bush administration, and I don’t think it will happen with another Republican in office, pandering to the religious fundamentalist fascist fringe.

But I'll tell you what I would like. I would like to pose a question to all of them one at a time and demand an answer. It is a critical question, and one to which all Americans need to know the answer.

My question is this:

If God communicated to you that He wanted you to use America's nuclear arsenal to bring about Armageddon and destroy America and the whole world so that Jesus could return to Earth and fulfill the prophecy of Book of Revelation, would you do it?

Since George W. Bush has mentioned numerous times that God told him to run for president and guides his actions, I suspect he would sacrifice America and all Americans for Jesus. Americans have the right to know the nature of the person with his finger poised over The Button. It is too late to keep his crazy butt out of the White House, and I can only hope that God keeps quiet for the next couple of years.

I think all Americans need to know the mental state of the next president before it is too late.
