BILL BROOKS
Bill Brooks (AEA) has performed and traveled throughout Europe and the United States for the past 20 years. He has played a variety of roles ranging from leading man to ensemble, romantic leads to character parts. The most challenging include: performing in Philadelphia as Che in EVITA directed by the talented Mark Waldrop, portraying Gus/ Growltiger in the Hamburg production of CATS, finally getting to play Sparky in Forever Plaid, and singing the beautiful music of Michael Oster in the Off-Broadway production of DISAPPEARING ACT.

Bill is currently pursuing his love of cabaret and concert work having performed in various cabaret rooms, including The Firebird Cafe Helen's and Don't Tell Mama. He was a 1998 Cabaret Fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT, and was a member and soloist with the Gay Gotham Chorus in New York City where he performed alongside Tony Winner, Victoria Clark in their salute to cabaret!

He is also a director and producer of cabarets acts ("Four Gals Singing" Feb/06, and "Make Your Own Party" June/06) and designs postcards and flyers for the cabaret community as well as provides video recording and DVD mastering services.

He received his training in musical theatre at Ithaca College, NY and currently resides in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

EDD CLARK
Edd Clark, hailing from Salt Lake City, obtained his degree in Music Education from Utah State University, and made his way to New York City. At home in many styles of music, Edd was the co-founder of the New Opera Group in NYC, and sang leading roles in the American premieres of Cimarosa's Le Astuzie Femminilli, and Haydn's Le Pescatrici, and the NY premiere of Cimarosa's The Italian Girl in London. Other opera appearances include Tito in La Clemenza di Tito, Ramiro in La Cenerentola, Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte, and Don Octave in The Stoned Guest.

Crossing over to musical theatre Edd appeared as Pirelli in Sweeney Todd, the Padre in Man of LaMancha, Tito Merelli in Lend Me a Tenor, Gaylord Ravenal in Showboat, and performed in both the national and international tours of Hello Dolly starring Mimi Hines. Edd has sung with many of the church choirs in NYC, and is a founding member of Cantus, a chamber vocal group based in New York City. As a soloist, he recently sang the tenor solo in the Vaughn Williams Hodie with the Hickory Choral Society in N.C.

Edd currently is a multimedia designer for Time Inc., and lives in Manhattan with his partner, composer Paul Stephan.

STEVEN THARP
Steven Tharp (AGMA) has performed in opera and concert with The Metropolitan Opera, The New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony, the New York City Opera, the Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera, The National Symphony, and abroad with the Netherlands Opera, the Royal Philharmonic (London), Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and many other opera and concert organizations in repertoire ranging from Monteverdi to Kurt Weill. Favorite roles include Tamino in The Magic Flute, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Nemorino in L'Elisir d'Amore and the Steersman in The Flying Dutchman.

As a song recitalist, he has sung at the Metropolitan Museum, Weill Recital Hall, the 92nd St. Y, the Newport Chamber Music Festival, and the Carmel Bach Festival among many other venues here and abroad. His song repertoire includes dozens of works by living composers, many of which he has premiered. He is a frequent guest artist with the New York Festival of Song, most recently in Ned Rorem's song-cycle Evidence of Things Not Seen. Upcoming recitals are scheduled at the Monadnock Music Festival and the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire. His recital of Schumann's Liederkreis cycles closes the Trinity Church concert series this summer. 

Steve is also in demand as a teacher and director. Last season he appeared with Caramoor both as singer (the title role in Don Quixote in Sierra Morena) and director (Pauline Viardot's Cendrillon). In 2005, he made his debut with the Netherlands Reisoper in Florian Gassman's L'Opera Seria.

PAUL STEPHAN (Musical Director & Arranger)
Paul Stephan is a graduate of Ithaca College and the University of Utah, where he received a Masters of Fine Arts in writing and directing musical theatre. He has studied composition with John Eaton and Karel Husa. His song cycles have been performed on the St. Paul Chapel Concert Series, the Christ Chapel Chamber Series, and at the Armenian Evangelical Church of NY. He has composed scores for several musicals, including A Fairy Tale, Beauty and the Beast, and Trudy, which premiered at Theatre 138 in Salt Lake City. Paul is an alumni of the BMI Lehman Engle Musical Theatre workshop, and had his works performed in their evenings of "works in progress." His song Anymore can be currently be heard on the Bettina Covo's debut CD Out of the Shadows.

Mr. Stephan's choral works have been premiered at the Middle Collegiate Church of NY and the Metropolitan-Duane United Methodist Church where he is Director of Music Ministries. His arrangement of The Sky Can Still Remember was recorded by the Hickory Choral Society. Mr. Stephan is the founder and artistic director of the Cantus Chamber Choir in NYC.

Paul was artistic director for the New Opera Group in NYC. He coached the rehearsals and conducted performances for 12 operas, including three NY premieres.
