   THIS PAGE ISNT READY YET

On this page I'll include some of my tips and tricks I've learned while doing my hobby. Where appropriate, I'll include steps or pictures to help clarify my explanations.

When I get the contact information Please feel free to contribute your own tips - I'll post the best ones so everyone can see them.

Here's an example of a tip I might include on this hobby site about dummy engines.

Tip 1:Making a drum from hardwood and balsa to start the dummy

Make two plywood circles how ever big you want the center of the eng, crankcase to be. Glue balsa sheeting around them about two inch wide.
Cut several balsa circles in the shape of your eng's head fins and cut several more just a little smaller. Stack these on top of one another till you get the highth of your engines head and this will be your cylinder.
Make four more and you will have the start of your wooden 5 cylinder engine.
Glue the wooden cylinders around the drum you made after cutting out a slot for the engine.
Just make up some valve covers out of 3/4" square balsa block and use some 1/8" sticks for the pushrods.
This makes a nice dummy engine.
