The Greek New Testament word for infirmity is (disease and sickness). Does infirmity (disease, sickness and affliction) happen because a "hateful" God wants to punish a Saint who sinned?
GEN 2:18 The LORD said, it is not good that man should be alone; we will make him a helper (another failed experiment). Six thousand years of (woe-man) has only brought catastrophic pandemic disease and death. Adam’s first day in the Garden of Eden revealed dissatisfaction for God's one law by obeying Eve. It was her disobedience of God and listening to the devil that passed the sin of physical and mental sickness to man. EPH 5:22-24 Contrary to Gods word Adam after his transgression left humanity with This word; husbands obey your wife, not the LORD. GEN 3:24 Eve's disobedience expelled them from the Garden of Eden and incurred punishment of hard labor, sweat, tears, mental anguish and opened the sickness door from Satan. MAT 5:45 The Bible explains that; saint and sinner are susceptible to a myriad of sicknesses (infirmities) and crippling (maladies) by unhealthy selfish living habits, greed, lying, environmental pollution and crime. Because of woman’s sin Pentecostal gift Ministers, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are also included in the devils attack of sickness (Infirmities and affliction). Though sicknesses (infirmities) happen to Pentecostals they nevertheless continue to trust in God for healing even when sinners mock them if not healed immediately. The O.T. records that the trials (infirmities) of God's holy men can be a mirror of evil and aberrant sin in His church.
LK 1:17, 19 The Angel Gabriel afflicted Zacharias a Hebrew Priest and father of John Baptist with speechlessness during the pregnancy of his wife Elisabeth. His healing was a sign to Hebrews that a partial salvation had come by John Baptist. After the birth of John; Zacharias speech was restored (healed) without anointing him with oil, drinking miracle water,laying hands on him, knocking him on his back or giving him a green, red, white or gold healing and prosperity cloth, rosary, crucifix, etc.
EZK 3:26 For eight years from 593 to 588 B.C.E. Ezekiel lost his voice. During that time his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth and he could eat only liquids. Because this made him unable to preach, teach, bless or reprove the church orally he wrote God's words in a holy book.
2CO 12:7 Because Apostle Paul had special knowledge of Christ's will for His church body he rejoiced when attacked with sickness and tortured by man-devils. 2CO 12:10 Paul said; I glory and take pleasure in my infirmities (sicknesses) so the power of Christ can work unhindered through me, for when I am weak (diseased) then I am strong. COL 4:14, 2TI 4:11 This may be why Paul kept the beloved physician Luke with him as a helper through his many sicknesses (infirmities).
1TI 5:23 Timothy was Paul’s well loved and trusted Pentecostal son in the faith yet when sick Paul could not heal him in Jesus name. From early childhood Pentecostal Timothy manifested sicknesses (infirmities) that were relieved only by medicine (wine). Sicknesses did not hinder Timothy’s witness for Christ or stop his coming salvation or make him less powerful in the Holy Ghost. ACT 28:9 Paul was unable to heal the sick in towns where he was well known, but when among those ignorant of Jesus or him he healed everyone.
PHI 2:26-28 God taught Epaphroditus, another of God’s holy men that when sick (infirmed) from the natural corruption of his body to trust Jesus as his healer.
2TI 4:20 For centuries preachers like Trophimus broke down physically in the gospel work from (sickness), not because of personal sin. The eleven Apostles of Jesus did not have power to heal each themselves or others at will when sick. God's reason for this is unknown.
GEN 27:1 Isaac another of Gods special people and one of only eight men God personally named, at the age 130 became blind. During the last fifty years of his life Isaac lived in totally blindness. This was not a curse because he sinned but the natural physical breakdown of man. But with or without sight during the one hundred and eighty years of his life God’s blessings flowed through him.
JUD 16:21 Though blinded by having both eyes gouged out Samson was Gods weapon to rid the land of the heathen ruling his people. God received full glory from his life after he was blinded by man-devils . JUD 14:4 Samson’s mother and father were ignorant of the fact that his lust for sex with strange women was God’s Trojan horse to destroy their enemy. God enhanced Samson’s natural sex drive to lull the Devils people into peace before their destruction. HEB 11:32 The New Testament book of Hebrews records Samson’s life and death as being a godly hero and man of great faith.
1KI 19:1, 16 Elijah was a mighty man of God but had a mental breakdown from overwork in Gods service. When it looked as if he would end his life (suicide) he ate two meals from an angel of cake and water, evening and morning, that sustained him for forty days while going to mount Horeb to receive from God restoration (healing) in mind and body and direction for his retirement as Prophet. Jealous church members may call this great man of God faithless or a backslider but his deeds for God prove them wrong.
2KI 13:14-21 Elisha took Elijah’s place as prophet and did wonders never repeated by any other man including Jesus. After asking for and receiving a double portion of Elijah's power he died of a slow malignant sickness (infirmity). Months after his death when the dead touched his bones the dead came to life. The request for a double portion is common request among semi-learned Pentecostals who are unaware that if granted it may bring with it a horrible sickness unto death.
PSA 105:18, GEN 41:1 A rich evil black African woman lied to her husband about her godly white servant Joseph by falsely accusing him of attempting to rape her. He sentenced him to prison where for two years with his feet shackled in chains that crippled him for life.
JOB 2:5-7 Job was a righteous and sinless man in his time yet God let the Devil cripple his feet with boils.
GEN 32:24, 25-31 Jacob wrestled with an Angel and became a cripple until his death but, his physical defect became a badge of honor and sign of Gods blessing on his life.
2SA 4:4, 9:10, 16:3, 19:27 Mephibosheth: Grandson of evil king Saul was crippled in his feet at the age of five. He was persecuted, libeled, and never healed yet God let him live a life of luxury in the king’s palace until he died.
ISA 20:2-5 God made Isaiah His Prophet walk, eat, and sleep completely naked throughout the Middle East for three years as a sign that the Egyptians and Ethiopians would be captured and made slaves with buttocks bared in shame for the world to see.
EZE 24:16, 18 God told Ezekiel; I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke. Ezekiel lost his godly wife by a massive stroke. Blood seeped into her brain stopping her bodily functions. This was a lesson was to God's people living in sin that, as a brain dead stroke victim their prayers were unintelligible.
1SAM 16:14, 15, 16 and 23 The Spirit of the LORD (Holy Ghost) departed from backslidden Saul and an evil spirit (demon) from the LORD entered him. If an evil spirit from God enters you it will come and go throughout your life unless converted to Jesus. When the evil spirit from God was upon Saul David took a harp and with godly music temporarily drove the devil out of Saul. If not for the sweet song of Jesus keeping demons at bay today men would commit suicide and murder unchecked.
ACT 20:35 Elders of the early church of God give daily support to the weak (sick, feeble and diseased) of God's flock not healed in Jesus name. They did this until wolves (false pastors) disguised as sheep entered their assemblies and kept the money for themselves saying; the saints were sick because of sin and did not deserve God's money.
Medical Doctors may be talented, trained and intelligent but practitioners of their occupation and specializations are mentioned only eleven times in Holy Scriptures.
REV 21:4 God shall wipe away all TEARS from the eyes of saint’s; and there shall be no more DEATH, neither SORROW, nor CRYING, neither shall there be any more PAIN (sickness): for the former things are passed away. When the church of God is attacked, misguided Pentecostals ask the satanic question, “If God loves you why are you sick or crippled"? Even after healing the sick, casting out devils, raising the dead and speaking in tongues some Pentecostals may go through the same physical breakdown as the lost. Only when God remakes earth and tabernacles with man will the earth’s curse of weakness (sickness) end.
JOS 23:1, PRO 24:35 Joshua whose name means Jesus, when at the end of his life died of old age sickness. How will your life end? Few have the answer to this question, so be humble and serve the Lord with all your mind, strength and body while alive.
His disciples asked, Master who sinned this man or his parents? Jesus answered, not this man or his parents: but so the works of God would be revealed in him. Later the people said; how were your eyes opened? He answered, a man called Jesus did it. New Testament teaching does not say that you will get sick and crippled, etc. to prove God is real or to perfect your Pentecostal life in Christ or save a soul.
