Saying "god-damn-it" is a VAIN (empty) CURSE not a SWEAR or CUSS word. In an off handed illiterate way it does says you believe in God.

Saying "god-damn-it" about a thing or a person is using the LORD'S name in a vain (empty, wasteful way) but is not cussing.

PRO 30:9. Unless I be full and deny (contradict) you (God) and take the name of my God (is he yours) in "VAIN" (uselessly).

The rich can take the name of the LORD in "VAIN" by saying their wealth came from their strength and intelligence not God.

Pentecostals living in poverty can take the name of the LORD in VAIN by "stealing" to support themselves or family.

PSA 10:7 His mouth is full of CURSING (wishing death) not CUSSING.

CURSE is an unacceptable verbal expression to wish another's goods or body to suffer harm.

In Old Testament Near Eastern Law and Diplomacy CURSES played an important part in daily life.

CURSES play a less significant in the twenty first century New Testament Pentecostal Church.

1CO 5:4,5 This New Testament verse refers to turning someone over to Satan and comes as close to a christian CURSE as any found in the Old Testament.

This curse was that Pentecostal fornicators be delivered to Satan for the destruction of their flesh that their spirit (MAY BE) saved in the day of the Lord.

CUSSING not CURSING is generally used to emphasize a point in heated anger, ignorance or frustration that can show a limited knowledge of ones native language.

Today people can only know a Godly CURSE when it is told to them by a Prophet or another of God's Instruction Ministers.

To utter "god-damn-it" when mad if hitting a finger or breaking an item,etc. says you are commanding God to damn or CURSE your finger, item, etc. but you are not CUSSING

God Not only does ignore idle, frivolous requests TO curse but he would not respond to such a foolish request if asked in earnest by a Pentecostal Saint.

This also applies if using the name Jesus spoken in frustration as an incomplete sentence and if using the sacred name Christ in anger.

Saying "Christ All Mighty" is not sin but another incomplete thought that makes no sense when ranting in an emotional frenzy.

PSA 109:17 As he loved CURSING so let CURSING not CUSSING come unto him.

PSA 109:18 He clothed himself with CURSING like his garment not CUSSING.

JAM 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and CURSING not CUSSING.

PSA 59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips and for CURSING not CUSSING or lying.

LYING AND CURSING NOT CUSSING GO HAND IN HAND.

MAT 26:74 Then Peter began to CURSE saying, "God strike you dead if you saw me with him".

Peter CURSED men to damnation, and then SWORE in God's name in an attempt to make others believe his lie, but he did not CUSS.

Peter SWORE or lied in the name of God Almighty saying, "I know not the man Christ Jesus" but he did not CUSS.

Do you swear?

If yes then you sinning but are not CUSSING.

ROM 3:14 Whose mouth is full of CURSING and bitterness not CUSSING.

1PE 1:15 But as he that has called you is Holy, so be you Holy in all manner of CONVERSATION (behavior).

The Greek root word for CONVERSATION is (BEHAVIOR) not the spoken word.

JAM 3:13 Who is a wise man and endowed with knowledge among you?

Let him show it out of a good CONVERSATION (BEHAVIOR) and his works (BEHAVIOR) with meekness of wisdom.

2PE 2:7 God delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy CONVERSATION (BEHAVIOR) of others.

Lot saw their behavior (faggots & dykes) and hearing their, CURSING, lying, SWEARING, stealing, and their bitterness not cussing which made him physically sick.

2PE 2:8 For that righteous man (Job) dwelling among them in seeing their behavior and hearing their CURSING, NOT CUSSING was vexed in his righteous body from day to day with their unlawful activities.

It was not hearing men, women and children of Sodom cuss that made Lot sick but seeing their perverted lifestyles.

JAM 5:12 Above all things my brethren PENTECOSTALS; do not SWEAR neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath.

The Holy Ghost said swearing not CUSSING.

The word SWEAR today is erroneously interchanged with CUSSING and irreverently linked to God's name so much so that men will never stop its erroneous use.

2KI 18:27, MAT 5:22, MAR 16:16 and JUD 19:22 Saying bible words like piss, hell, damn, bastard, whore, minstrual cloth, whoremonger, sodomite, etc., are not SWEAR, CURSE or CUSS words.

LEV 19:12 You shall not SWEAR by my Name falsely. Not cuss.

JER 23:10 Because of SWEARING not CUSSING the land mourns.

HOS 10:4 They have spoken words SWEARING (NOT CUSSING) falsely in making a promise.

Loosely using God's name in an atempt to validate your lie is SWEARING not CUSSING and without God's permission to swear a nation (Jews) will be brought to disaster.

People will burn in eternal hell-fire because they will not ask Gods grace to forgive the sin of SWEARING AND CURSING, NOT CUSSING.

As tasteless as obscenities, profanities or other coarse words can be cussing will not send a soul to hell.

Rejecting Jesus as Lord and Savior, not being baptized under water and not speaking the language of Angels will send a soul go to hell-fire NOT CUSSING.

ROM. 14:22. Do you have faith in God? Have it to yourself before God.

You will be happy if you do not condemn yourself with a NON-SIN like CUSSING.

If you eat food offered to devils, CUSS, drink alcohol or smoke, God's grace can still save you.

If you have a propensity in normal conversation to CUSS you may sound stupid and show a deficiency in social graces but you are not sinning.

CUSS words may make the religious ignorant stumble in their walk to serve Jesus but as you serve Jesus you will control your public use of Cussing around them.

There are many Old and New Testament do's and don'ts for Pentecostals to obey but CUSSING is not one of them.

CUSSING is taught as sin in churches today by religious legalists with a private interpretation of the bible.

If you feel convicted saying certain CUSS words You may be feeling the pressure of modern church taboos not a scriptural prohibition.

Work hard to master whatever you feel your spiritual growth needs in Jesus but do not feel you are lost if cussing.

Isa 29:21 Some make a man an offender for a word (damn, shit, piss, etc.) and turn aside the just (Pentecostal) for a thing of nothing (a word).

Find out what real bible sins are neighbor and preach against that not what you or someone else may think is sin.
