Why "The Toynut"?

Jim White, a wise man who spent many an hour hosting a late night radio show on KMOX in St. Louis said, "It's never too late to have a happy childhood".

I took him at his word.  Ty Beanies are just some of the toys I love, but they are definitely the best. They put a smile on your face, and bring the imagination to life, whether you're 8 or 80.

Curly and I became fast friends many years ago, and will stay friends as long as my joy of living and imagination remain alive.  Just like Jim said, "it's never too late....."

This is my Ms. Santa look from Christmas 2003.  All the beanies expected to see Santa arrive at any moment.

TOYNUT

This is my biggest Christmas tree, and it stays up all year.  I have one room dedicated to all the Christmas goodies from my childhood memories.  The star on the top of my tree is a starfish.

Besides loving toys, I also love Christmas, and love it in a really big way.  I am lucky enough to have a house with enough room to allow me to leave my seven and a half foot tree up year around.  The tree has 1500 mini lights on it, and 7 strands of candle lights.  It has a village under it, complete with a train set.  There are three animated Santas in the room.  There is a complete wall full of beanie baby bears to make it even more fun.  Toys and Christmas all year.....can it get any better?
