The Thumbs Canadian Tour- August 1995
We formed the band that spring, and, faced with a pretty boring summer, decided to go on tour. None of us had ever been to Canada, so it seemed like a logical choice. We had our merchandise (all we had were t-shirts, no records) shipped up to Canada, and a Canadian kid sent us a bogus invoice to record in a studio in Canada. This is the way that many bands smuggle merchandise into Canada without paying the taxes. This was the only tour that Randy went on. We had a blast. Chris Landers of the Invisibles roadied for us. We only went out for 10 days, and probably only played 6 shows, but it was a great time.

Here's where we played, I don't know the dates we played.
Ottawa
Quebec
Toronto
Guelph
London

We were in Montreal for 2 or 3 days. We met some really cool people, but we never did get to play a show. We tried to jump on a Strung Out show, and a Wayne Kramer show, but no dice. We lost a ton of money up there, and I certainly don't recommend it, unless you are a big band or are touring with a big band, but we had a lot of fun.
