Carroll Ann Friedmann, the director of Month 10, has been doing postpartum doula work in Charlottesville, Virginia for
almost three years. She is certified with DONA International. Carroll Ann especially enjoys helping new parents explore options
for sleep, feeding and wearing baby, and is an expert in breastfeeding, teaching newborn care and soothing techniques. She
has had a lot of experience with twins. She has three children, and is part-owner of The Stork Cloth Diaper Service. She is
also an instructor of Religion at UVA and runs a homeschooling cooperative.
Dianne Bearinger is a DONA-certified postpartum doula, and handles scheduling for Month 10. She has been
working with young children and their families for most of her adult life. Dianne taught preschool and parent-toddler classes
at The Charlottesville Waldorf School for many years. She currently home-schools her two children, Elias (13) and Zoë (10).
Her extensive background in the Waldorf approach to early childhood can be helpful in establishing a balanced, nurturing,
beautiful home environment and daily rhythm. Dianne especially enjoys working with families and their toddlers as they welcome
a new baby. She is also working on a Community Herbalist Certification, and has knowledge of medicinal and nutritional herbs
that can be a support to postpartum women.

Cynthia Jordan-Fisher has worked with infants and toddlers and their parents for 25 years. She is certified as a trainied
AMI Montessori Assistant to Infancy, covering prenatal babies to three years. She worked in a delivery room and newborn nursery
as part of her training, and has observed newborns for over 100 hours for certification. Cynthia has also done assessments
on mother-infant bonding as a child development specialist.
Latia Murphy is a certified birth and postpartum doula with Southern California Doulas. She is very knowledgeable
and compassionate. She has two children, and especially enjoys helping women who are struggling postpartum.

Anna Ruth Myers - With over ten years of experience in early childhood education and care, Anna Ruth comes to Month 10
with confidence and ease around little ones. She has worked with families and
children in child care centers, homeschool groups, Montessori schools, and as a nanny.
She brings knowledge of educational and parenting alternatives to her role. Now,
having turned her focus to the birth and postpartum periods, Anna Ruth is a DONA trained postpartum doula, and an ALACE and
Childbirth International trained birth doula. She greatly enjoys working with
families during this transformative time. Anna Ruth has the flexibility for both
day and nighttime care, the experience to assist with sibling care, and the willingness to work with all kinds of families. As a doula, her goal is for every woman to feel supported and cared for.
