Includes this Rolling Stone write-up on the back cover of the Arista VHS:
For years, The Church was one of
Australia's best-kept rock & roll secrets, a band duly celebrated Down Under
for its rare guitar brilliance and songwriting invention yet forever waiting to
happen abroad. The symphonic twang and seductive melodies of 1988's
Starfish and the group's latest album, Gold Afternoon Fix, have
changed that for good. Goldfish (Jokes, Magic & Souvenirs) is the
definitive collection of The Church's unique videos. Spanning their entire career
from the classic 1981 Australian single "The Unguarded Moment" to the recent hit
"Metropolis." An essential complement to the band's records, Goldfish (Jokes,
Magic & Souvenirs) brings the sound and vision of The Church to life in
altered states of color, image and performance which will delight both longtime
fans and recent converts.

This altered write-up appears on the back cover of the 2005 EMI DVD:
For years, The Church were one of Australia's best-kept rock & roll secrets - a band duly celebrated at home for their rare guitar brilliance and song writing invention yet forever waiting to happen abroad. The symphonic twang and seductive melodies of 1988's Starfish and 1990's Gold Afternoon Fix changed that for good.
First issued in 1990, Goldfish (Jokes, Magic & Souvenirs) is the definitive collection of The Church's unique videos from beginning to breakthrough: music for the eyes spanning the band's first decade, from the classic 1981 single 'The Unguarded Moment' to the 1990 hit 'Metropolis'.
This deluxe DVD edition includes an additional pair of stars from that era: 'Ripple', from The Church's 1992 masterpiece, Priest = Aura, and 'Two Places At Once' from 1994's Sometime Anywhere. The guitars now literally whirl around you as well, in 5.1 surround sound.
Goldfish (Jokes, Magic & Souvenirs) brings the music and vision of The Church to life in altered states of colour, image and performance which will delight and dazzle both long-time devotees and new converts.

Marty Willson-Piper posted this message to the Noctorum Facebook page on Jan. 15, 2017:
I suddenly realized tonight that two of the guitars that I lost in the New York robbery, featured in two different video clips, shot in the same forest at Wiseman's Ferry, NSW, Australia. Electric Lash was shot at night using the Shergold, A Different Man in the day using the Rickenbacker. Was it the curse of the naiads from the nearby river or the sylvan sprites at their mischief? What was their influence on this terrible night? How come the guitars have never been seen again?
