The richness of life lies perhaps in the unending potential for learning a completely new
thing every day. As humans, we are blessed with a rich and complex natural history that provides us with constant opportunity
for new exploration of our planet. Unfortunately, as we explore we also destroy and we are faced increasingly with a need
to take accountability for our effects on the other living things that share our space. In order to best do this, we need
an awareness of what is out there and how our actions affect our fragile ecosystems.
The Art Salamander hopes to help spread the news of our precious natural heritage. It combines
images of our natural wealth with a love of color and folk art in hopes of bringing this awareness into the everyday.
This familiarity may create a love that makes people want to protect it so there will always be more to learn, more to explore.
