Marathon Acting Class
For Versatile Actors

Advanced - Baton Rouge - Thursdays -
7-10 pm. starting Nov. 12th

Actors,

For the final semester of 2009 starting the week of November 9th, we are going to streeeeeettttttttcccccchhhhhhh every acting muscle you have!  In each class, you will be acting for the camera or doing improvs, monologues, cold reading, scenes, theater games, or physical and psychological exercises to tune your instrument.

By working on many different skills each week and continuously engulfing yourself in your art, you can push past any limitations in your craft to do the finest work you can do.  You can achieve greater diversity in your auditions and hone your acting skills to a razor sharp edge when you are playing one kind of character in one scene and someone entirely different in the next.

This course is not quite improv, not quite scene work.  It's a modern mixture to discover what types of characters and what types of scenes are most fun for you to play and where you want your career path to take you.
