TBX
A TBX control not only works like a normal tone control, but it also has
a double function where it takes off some low end. This gives you a nice airy, brilliant tone. This works great with the series
settings of my custom mods or with humbuckers. And it makes single coils almost angelic.
How it works is with a dual stacked pot with one control shaft. It has
a center detent where the control is off. Turn it one way and it works like a normal tone, turn it the other way and it works
as the bass cut. It uses a standard Strat knob.
If added to a standard 5 way harness the TBX can control all the pickups,
just one pickup or any combination of two. But when used with a custom harness it can be a Master or control just one.
Info:
- TBX Takes place of 1 Tone control.
- Can be assigned to all pickups or any individual pickup.
- Can only be assigned to two pickups if added to a Standard 5 way harness.
- TBX Requires 1" of depth.
- More options will be added in the future.
Phase Switch
By adding a phase switch on a push pull pot or mini toggle you
can change the phase of any single pickup. This will give you a very nasal, quacky kind of tone. Popular on the
Jimi Page Les Pauls. Works great on Strats as well. I would suggest changing the phase of the middle pickup, because
this will give you the most out of phase options.
Bridge On
This will add a Bridge on Mod to any standard 5 way harness. This will give
you all the same settings as a blend, but the bridge will simply be on or off, not slowly blended in. A lot of players
prefer it that way.
This can be done on a push pull pot or on a mini toggle. When off you will
have the stock 5 settings. When up you will have the extra settings of "Bridge & Neck" and also "All 3 Pickups". This
is the most popular Strat mod ever done.
Virtually any upgrade is possible. It's almost impossible for me to list
every possible upgrade and scenario. And I don't want you to be limited to just what is pre-listed on the site. I can put
together anything you want as long as it will work. If I don't have an upgrade option set up for it you can just add in some
extra labor to cover the parts and labor. All Labor Upgrades
