Adding a "Volume Kit" to your harness will add a component across the volume
pot. What this does is prevent the loss of high end that is normal when you turn the volume down.
Typically, when you turn the volume down, a certain amount of high frequencies
are lost. This creates a duller, less lively tone, and less control over your guitars volume, while still maintaining
good tone.
So by adding a volume kit, the high frequencies are not lost. Instead they
pass through the component and to the output. Giving you a full and lively tone, at any volume setting. A volume kit goes
by many other names, so you may have seen the same thing somewhere else, but with a different name. But they all do the same
thing. It may be called, amongst others, a Treble Bleed, Treble Bypass, Treble Retainer, Volume Capacitor, etc. These will
all perform the same function.
The parts are very inexpensive, but very effective. That is why
TFN Tech offers a Volume Kit at No Extra Charge to anyone that would like to have one. To add one to your harness
when selecting your Pot Value, select the pot value next to "Add Volume Kit" and one will be included in your order.
