Intro to Strat Bridge Blend wiring harness
   
This is my Bridge Blend Mod. This probably the most common Strat mod available and has been done many ways. But the TFN Tech way is a little different, higher quality and eliminates redundant settings on the 5 way. So this means, at all times you will have 5 different settings on the 5 way switch.  
 
This harness is great as a replacement for an existing Standard harness that is either faulty or in need of replacement. It's also great to use as a harness for a new guitar project that you are building or assembling from scratch. And perfect for upgrading cheap import parts to change an economy Strat or Strat style guitar to one with the same reliability and quality as a USA Strat.

General Description:

        The Bridge Blend Mod uses a special blend pot to allow you to blend in the bridge pickup to the output. This allows you to not only get all 7 Parallel settings, but also allows for control over the bridge level in the new custom settings. This makes this mod easy to use, yet very versatile. Great for Blues and Rock, as it adds Tele tones to your Standard Strat tones. All with USA Strat quality parts.

       With the pull down menus above you can choose the value of the pots,  the color code used for the pickups. In general, use 250K for all single coils, Lace Sensors, Dimarzio Virtual Vintage and GFS Singles. Use 500K for mini Humbuckers like Seymour Duncan Hot Rails or JB Jr for instance. Use 1 Meg for Fender Vintage Noiseless.

Mode of Operation:
 
        This harness switches using a Standard 5 way pickup switch. And has a Blend Pot for adding in the bridge pickups output in only positions 4 & 5.
Some other Bridge Blend mods, just add the bridge to the output in all the settings on the 5 way. This results in positons 2 & 3 being the same. But with advanced wiring techniques I have eliminated that common problem.
