The mission of Texas Prep is to strive for uniqueness and diversity, which is directly responsible for success. Diversity is what makes the world go-round. Therefore, we have no preconceived paradigm which would limit a formula for success, nor is there the presence of an expectation to meet any preconceived rigid set of standards other than those set forth by law.

What we do, is strive to identify and assist in delineating distinctive characteristics, then communicate that inherent identity in a meaningful way. We are here to assist in educating and providing an environment that is rigidly structured to achieve maximum potential in each individual participating to alleviate the “drop out” label; re-establish a love for learning; and increase literacy skills to above average levels.

It is vitally important that all participants who attend are afforded the opportunity to remove any and all labels which have been placed on them by society and the system. Since this is first and foremost in the minds and hearts of the faculty and administration, initial goals are to boost the self esteem of the participant by interpreting their needs and sources of stress, which have prompted them to fail to attend school.

Texas Prep does not discriminate against anyone because of race, culture, color, or religion.  It also does not disallow admittance due to previous issues with behavior.  All students are evaluated through an interviewing process and are accepted according to this process.
