Roberto Santiago has been involved in the Deaf world since 1994. He is a graduate of the Deaf Studies programs at Vista Community
College in Berkeley, California, California State University Northridge (B.A., Interpreting), and Gallaudet University (M.A.
Interpreting). He currently works as an interpreter in Washington D.C. and moonlights as a freelance writer.
