Our Director

Teri Canaday, the executive director of the school, has been involved in Montessori education for over 35 years.  

Teri is a certified Montessori teacher through the American Montessori Society.  She teaches in the classroom and  is passionate about her work in Montessori.  She is a national Montessori consultant and lectures for many institutions on the subject of Montessori education.

Nationally, she is working on the AMS peace committee and strives to promote peace through her work with the children and adults.

Our Teachers

  • Liz Long, our classroom assistant, has been with our dynamic program since 1996. 
  • Julie Riddle is our certified Montessori head teacher for the 3-6 year old program.    
  • Pat Tisdal  gives lessons in the area of sensory integration. Pat also assists the children and the staff in the classroom. 
  • Barbara Bryant is a certified Montessori teacher working in the 3-6 environment.
  • Carol Stults is the kindergarten teacher in the early childhood program
  • Mary Rassier works as an elementary assistant.
  • Holly Roolf teaches in the elementary classroom.
  • Tisha Ewing is our business administrator and will answer questions concerning enrollment and finances.
  • The staff is dedicated to helping the children develop to their fullest potential in all areas.
