- The Montessori Center was founded in 1990 and offers a small, cozy atmosphere where children are nurtured and encouraged
to experience the joy of learning.
- The school is affiliated with the American Montessori Society.
- The school offers a half day morning program five days a week for children ages 3-6 years. Early childhood
and kindergarten children may stay till 2:00 p.m. Elementary children's school day is 8:00-3:00 during the 2007-08 school
year.
- Regular parent meetings are scheduled throughout the year.
- Seminars on the Montessori method, positive discipline, conflict resolution, and assistant training are available upon

The Montessori Center provides young children with a quality early childhood experience which fosters the
development of the whole child utilizing developmentally appropriate practices. The environment incorporates the most
recent brain research on learning into a rich educational setting that stimulates as well as nurtures the creative spirit
