A car entering the Tenmile Store Parking Lot hit a young woman who was walking in the dark lot. The driver apparently did not see her until she became visible in the car’s lights, but it was too late to avoid hitting her. The unidentified young woman was treated at the scene by Tenmile Fire Department for hip and back injuries. She was taken to Mercy hospital by ambulance. Rain likely contributed to the accident.
