April
30 - Inanna's Day
Temple
Zagduku focuses on experiential shamanism at this in-between time, which
occurs around September 22 each year. This night is dedicated to the honor and celebration of Lilitu, our dark patron. She is the Sumero-Babylonian Goddess of Wind and imparts the breath of life to those whom she wishes. Winter Solstice - Night of Ereshkigal The winter solstice, which occurs around December 21 each year, is dedicated to Ereshkigal. Ereshkigal is Inanna's sister and rules the underworld where Inanna received her initiation through the seven gates. Birthdays Each member's birthday is considered a sacred day for that member. We remember the divinity of each member on his/her birthday and honor him/her appropriately. |
