heard such an absurd as ABSTRACT REALITY?! And yet…

Some of my pictures
can not be simply categorized as belonging to STRAIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY or to LET'S GET WILD… They are my personal compositional experiments. They consist of real-world scenes like still life, landscape or architecture, but the way those scenes are depicted is somewhat deceptive and abstract, if you know what I mean.          OK. So, they may be scenes where the light, or pattern, or rhythm, or perspective are themes in themselves. Or, the object in the scene seems familiar but in the context of background or surroundings it looks like it is out of place or out of scale. Not exactly surrealism and not exactly realism. A little bit of uncertainty, a little bit of mystery. And sometimes a question: “What's there just outside the frame, that I can't see?”. That's what I call abstract reality, for the lack of a better descriptive word…
         This kind of picture lends itself very well to black-and-white photography.
