This site
is a humble home made personal effort.
         It is  my first ever site, dedicated almost entirely to my interests and activities in photography.
         When I first started putting this site together, I had no clue whatsoever what I was doing (from the developer's point of view). I was using wrong application in a wrong way and that resulted in many incompatibilities with different browsers on different platforms. Since the  Third Edition I have learned a bit about HTML and I have redone the entire web site for the  Fourth Edition. I hope that the result will make me less embarassed than the previous version…

Essentially, it's a triple-face site, so to speak…
One of the faces is a sampler of my “straight” type of pictures, including people photos, so-called nature photography and other various flavors.
         The second one is of experimental type. It shows my personal search for style in composition, choice of the subject and visual/mental associations.
         The third one goes beyond confines of  “straight” photography and reflects my more creative interests in photo-imaging. Not all of these interests are covered with equal depth, though.

included in the pages of this site have been taken by me over a period of about 30 years.

Creating this first site of mine
has been a lot of fun—about as much fun as taking the pictures shown here.There was a lot of pain, too, associated with the fact that I was learning on my own mistakes as I was developing my site.
         There's still a long way to go… I intend to modify and improve this site on the ongoing basis. My intention is to update it with new pictures and maybe new topics on a more or less regular basis (let's say: once in about 2 to 3 months). Since I have my day job that consumes almost all of my time and energy, please, be tolerant if you don't see an update when it's due. Instead hollering, go eat an apple (no trademark) or jog a mile or two…
         Each  major update, correction or addition (or exclusion, for that matter) in the content, appearance or functionality of my web site will bear  new edition number (right underneath the site logo in the upper left part of the navigation bar).

I think that is just about
as much as anybody can read about a strange guy who decided (who knows, why?) to make his own personal home site on the world wide web.
