Welcome to our website. We (TMDF) are an organization of dog-oriented people
in the Greater Tehachapi area of California. Our members include hobby breeders, competitors in conformation, agility and
obedience, dedicated mixed breed owners, and those who are interested in local animal laws.
The TMDF present Novice Obedience classes, puppy kindergarten classes,
and show handler training. We have an AKC certified Evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen test working with every obedience
and kindergarten class.
We sponsor and conduct the annual Pet Parade in conjunction with
Tehachapi Mountain Festival every August. We also are active in organizing opposition to local dog limit laws, statewide
BSL and mandatory sterilization proposals, and other anti-dog legislation.
