Hi. Welcome to Lonesome Dove Kennels in Denton, Nebraska. My name is Ted Dewey. As owner of Lonesome Dove Kennels, I am dedicated to providing the best possible training experience for your hunting partner.

History

I have been training dogs for over 40 years. Training for hunters, National Shoot to Retrieve Association (NSTRA) trailers and hunting preserves. I have trained many NSTRA Champions, four top four finishers in Championship trials and one National Champion.

Philosophy

I limit training to no more than five dogs at one time. This allows maximum attention to each dog. Dogs are worked twice daily and trained to your hunting or trialing needs.

All dogs go through a two week evaluation, at the end of which their owners are made aware of the results of that evaluation.
