Design & implement a limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment for a midwest Piping Company planning to enter into a long-term lease with a major railroad. An earlier Phase I ESA proposed widespread multi-media sampling. A more thorough program of record review and interviews was performed, eliminating most of the potential environmental conditions, while verifying others. The Client used the findings to strengthen the indemnification clause in the lease to exclude all pre-existing contamination suspected at the former Corrective Action site.
