Here we will explain how we function as a Purebred Poodle rescue.

The Twin Cities Poodle Club,Inc.,is an Affiliate member of the Poodle Club Of America,Inc.('PCA')

We are bound to the rules of 'PCA',who require all affiliate clubs to operate their own Poodle rescue.

We do NOT assist in mixed-breed rescue.

We do NOT keep a waiting list--please bookmark us and check back often!!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RESCUE POODLE AND A REHOME POODLE?

A true rescue dog is one who is neglected,abandoned,and often abused.

Most of these dogs will go to humane orginizations as evidence in court cases,so they have to be boarded untill the cases go to trial.

Rehome Poodles are Poodles who are given up by their owners,often times in the case of an elderly person who needs to move into a nursing home,or due to lifestyle changes,family emergency,economic hardship.

We are always here to help Poodles in need any way we can.

We can also refer for Poodle rescue or adoption to any part of the USA!

AVAILABLE POODLES:

Standard Poodles: 'Onyx', M black Standard,2 Y-O. Neutered,all shots. Fully trained,loves everyone,other dogs and cats!. His owners are facing a lifestyle change and must place this perfect boy.

Did I mention his owner used him in grooming competitions?

He is a bonus for any Poodle owner!

Pet Projects currently has several smaller Poodles for adoption including:

'Jody' ,F white 4 months old Toy Poodle.She was born with a twisted kneecap--so she has 1 back leg slightly bowed.'Jody' is still an active,happy puppy and should do fine. A home with no stairs and no SMALL CHILDREN will be best.
