We are a committee of retired temple members who were involved in the helping professions. We work in close harmony with Rabbi Moss. Our task is to visit all temple members who are hospitalized. We also call every member who leaves the hospital to check to see how they are doing.
For those members who are in rehabilitation centers or in nursing homes we have regular visitation, if the family wants it. For those members who are very old, frail, incapacitated, bereaved, and lonely, we provide regular phone calls or visits if the person is agreeable.
Through the Jewish family service, we have an exceptional social worker who can provide counseling free of charge: Ellie Schwartzberg
