Yn Plant Ty Haffan

Welcome!

Ty Hafan, the Children's Hospice in Wales, is a very special place.

Its located in its own grounds on the banks of the Channel at Sully, close to Barry to the west of Cardiff.

It was purpose built and opened in January 1999 to provide help and support for the 300+ families, living within Wales, where one or more of the children suffer from a life-limiting illness.

As this service is completely free to all the families that use Ty Hafan, it now costs over £2 million every year to operate and we need your help.

A few days ago I had a message from Stormy, asking if I could tell him the Welsh word for Children.  I at first thought that he and the lovely Mrs S, were trying to tell me something.  However, he then explained that he was writing a tune which he would like to dedicate to the children of Ty Hafan.

Lo and behold I received a copy of the tune score this morning, and also his permission to share it. I am sure my rumors of my so-called technical skills precede me and someone will take pity on me and upload it.

I have informed the Ty Hafan of this gesture and they are thrilled, I am now trying to figure out, how to get the whole PBF Band to Wales to play the tune!

So here goes, if it works I hope you can hear it.  As expected, the tune is.
