Summary:A new day dawns and Cooper meets the players, still wearing their clothes from the day before, in the streets of Switzerland. After commenting a bit on their grungy clothes and smell he says they need to select "two women with good fashion sense and a man who needs fashion advice". The group selects Dorothy, Elavia and Bill. Cooper then sends the others away and leads the three up a hill. There, they find a set of... interesting outfits, each labeled with a $2,000 tag. Cooper explains this new challenge to them. They have to pick out a set of clothing for each of the other players. If the players wear their clothes into town, on the train ride and into the hotel in St. Moritz, then the players will get $20,000 added to the pot and will get some new clothes. The clothes are, of course, fairly embarrassing. Patrick winds up wearing nothing but a pair of bikini briefs. Al gets a corset and Bribs a pink slip. Darwin winds up wearing a bunny suit (complete with ears) while Rob gets a cow outfit. The women are a bit better off; Katie and Myra both wind up wearing leiderhosen, Ali gets a Heidi outfit, Lisa winds up in a green dress and Heather wears a yellow dress with an apron. She actually complains about it, which doesn't make Darwin in his bunny suit too happy. Rob comments that his cow outfit looks like it was "used during foreplay." (Hmmm..) Al also complains about his corset; he says that he is in charge of a bunch of warehouse workers who will give him a hard time about this. Cooper points out that "Many men enjoy the feel of women's underwear." "How do you know that?" Al shoots back. Adjusting to their new outfits, they wander off in pairs to look for the train station. After the players have gone Cooper gets back with Dorothy, Elavia and Bill and makes them an offer. If they all wear baby outfits (including diaper, bonnet and pacifier) then he will double the pot to $40,000. Bill says he won't do it; that he is ex-Navy and won't do anything that could be seen as embarrassing to the Navy. Elavia backs him up saying that she doesn't think she is in a position to say anything to him. The players make their way through the streets attempting to find the train station. They attract quite a few strange looks and more than a few laughs along the way. (Or, maybe that was because of the apple Cooper is seen eating.) At one point along the way Al, in his corset, worries about getting aroused. (Thanks for sharing, Al.) Eventually everyone winds up at the train station. Everyone except Ali and Bribs. After a while the others start getting a bit worried as to where they are. The camera cuts to show that Ali and Bribs are doing fine; having a few beers in a local pub! The departure time of the train is approaching and Bill and Lisa go into town to look for Ali and Bribs. They meet them coming up the hill to the station and they explain where they have been. Apparently Bill and Lisa think this is a good idea too as all four of them return to the bar for a final round. When everyone (finally) gets to the top of the hill the remaining players are annoyed to find out that the missing persons had been having fun at the bar while the rest of them stood around in the cold. They are even more annoyed when Ali announces that they have been offered an Exemption if they don't get on the train! Everyone gets fairly angry at hearing this. Darwin rips off his bunny ears but Lisa tells him to put them back on. Katie is quite upset and is running around telling everyone about this change of events. Ali and Bribs let them stew for a bit before announcing that they are kidding. They laugh at their joke but none of the other players think it is very funny. Once on the train several players continue to give Bribs a hard time. Bribs, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be too concerned about what they think. He thinks the others are taking the game too seriously. Patrick catches a nap while Darwin simply stares out the window. Everyone makes it to the hotel and Cooper shows them their reward; their bags are rolled in, unburned! Apparently the bags burned in the previous episode were fakes. "Actually", says Cooper "I did burn your cow, Katie." He turns out to be joking. Everyone is greatly relieved and Katie happily shows the camera her stuffed cow (who we have learned is named "Meadow Muffin"). We also get to see Heather's bible and the pictures of Al's family. Cooper tells them that they have only won $18,000. When Darwin ripped off his ears at the train station this counted as his removing part of the costume and cost them $2,000. He also tells them how Bill, Dorothy and Elavia had the chance to double the pot and declined. The players are a bit annoyed about this but are happy enough about getting their luggage back that they let it slide. We next meet our players, now dressed, in a casino. Cooper shows up wearing a tux and announces the next game. He pulls out a thick wad of money and flashes it for them. This is $20,000 from the pot. (Katie nearly falls over when she sees the money.) He tells them that he needs four players for this game; a gambler, someone with a cool head, a selfish brat and someone who is "good with numbers". They choose Darwin, Lisa, Katie and Rob respectively. (At least Katie wasn't the "cool head"; she says she's never had that much money in her hand.) Cooper takes them away so that they can change into more suitable clothing. The four return wearing tuxedos and evening dresses and Cooper finishes explaining the game. The four of them will be playing Blackjack (with a $1,000 minimum bet!) with the $20,000 they have. If they are able to double their stake to $40,000 then it will be put into the pot. On the other hand, if they lose the $20,000 then it is obviously lost from the pot. Initially the players do quite well and raise their stake to $32,000. Then, Katie splits a pair of threes. She loses both hands and the player's luck runs out. Fairly soon everyone is wiped out except for Rob who has $4,000 left. He puts it all on one last hand and stands on 16. Unfortunately, the dealer gets 17 and Rob loses. They have lost the $20,000. We next see the players at dinner that evening. "A new game is starting" Cooper tells us, "and the players aren't even aware of it." As he talks, we see a chef preparing a cake for dessert and notice that he has failed to place a blueberry on one slice. When dessert is handed out that evening everyone helps themselves to the cake. The slice of cake missing the blueberry is, ironically, the last one left. Cooper asks if anyone wants the last slice and Dorothy quickly takes it, starting the next game. That evening, after all the players have returned to their rooms, Cooper pays a visit to Dorothy and Lisa's room. He tells them how they were chosen and makes them an offer. If they can get two other players to visit their room (violating game rules, players are under a curfew and are not allowed to leave their rooms after they return to them at the end of the day) then both of them will win an Exemption. On the other hand, they will lose $1,000 from the pot for each player who breaks the rules. Lisa calls Darwin who, we have found out, she is in a Coalition with. Patrick answers the phone and she pretends to be the front desk. When Darwin gets on the line she tells him to pretend she is the front desk and for him to come to her room. He agrees and we see him on a hidden camera in the hall as he leaves his room. Dorothy then calls Katie and asks her to come over. "Am I supposed to?" asks Katie. "Yes." is the response. Katie scurries right over and is met my Dorothy, Lisa... and Cooper. He motions for her to sit down and be quiet. Meanwhile, there is no sign of Darwin. Calls to his room are answered by Patrick saying that he isn't there. Eventually he calls Lisa; he's down at the front desk! (We really are confused, aren't we Darwin?) He now comes up to Dorothy and Lisa's room. There, Cooper tells them what has happened. Dorothy and Lisa each get an Exemption. For leaving their rooms against the rules both Darwin and Katie have cost the pot $2,000. Katie gets angry, starts crying and runs out of the room. Darwin just sort of shrugs his shoulders. Cooper goes across the hall and brings Katie back. She complains about being lied to and deceived. "Katie, that's what the game is about!" says Cooper. (Gotcha!) Katie returns to her room and complains to her roommates about what happened. Ali is upset by the fact that both Dorothy and Lisa got Exemptions. Apparently she feels that having two people with Exemptions tilts the odds too much against her. Meanwhile, Darwin and Patrick are also discussing what happened. Patrick only seems to be slightly surprised. He is more surprised when Darwin says not to say anything about what happened. The next day Cooper explains to all the players what has happened and tells them that the next Execution will be that evening after dinner. Most suspicion seems to be on either Dorothy and Lisa or Katie and Darwin because of their actions the night before. A few people suspect Ali or Bribs because of their almost being late for the train. Katie is especially suspicious of Darwin because of the Blueberry Game. (But, Katie, you left the room too!) Elavia suspects Heather because she is so nice. Finally, we get the Execution quiz... The Quiz:Cooper types in the player's names one by one. Myra, Heather, Katie, Al and Patrick are all green screened, then Ali gets the Red Screen of Death. Apparently she had cause to worry about those two Exemptions. Bribs comments that he misses her because it means that when they went to the bar while in costume she was doing it because she wanted to have fun and enjoy herself and not because she was the Mole and trying to throw the game. The others comment that she was really enjoying the game. For herself, Ali comments that she got angry and didn't plan her strategy well. Ali is gone, but The Mole is still out there. Suspicion and Analysis:Bill, Dorothy and Elavia decline to wear the diaper and bib and so give up the chance to double the pot. Ali and Bribs go to a bar instead of going to the train station with the other players, causing dissent. (Ali, of course, is Executed and so can't be the Mole.) Bill and Lisa go looking for Ali and Bribs and return with them to the bar. (Ali, of course, is Executed and still can't be the Mole.) Darwin removes his rabbit ears and loses credit for wearing the costume. Katie splits her threes during the blackjack game at an inopportune time. Rob plays all his remaining chips on a single hand, wiping out their last chance. Dorothy quickly speaks up to get the last slice of cake, the one without the blueberry. Dorothy and Lisa call the others to their room, gaining an exemption while costing the other players money from the pot. Darwin and Katie both leave their rooms against the rules and costing the players money from the pot. Be seeing you... |
