Overview:Scorpius welcomes the crew onto his Command Carrier but not all of the Peacekeepers on board are as happy to see them as he is, especially where Aeryn and Crais are concerned. The crew also discovers that Peacekeeper High Command is not as pleased with Scorpius' research as he would like and that the Commandant they have sent to inspect his progress is not very happy with the offer of asylum he has made. Quotes:At last. The rift between us is finally bridged. - Scorpius I came to work. - John Crichton You must be the infamous John Crichton. - Commandant Mele-on Grayza I'm here on a big, stinking Command Carrier, Dick Tracy's freaking neural bracelet linking me to Bram Stoker's nightmare. What more do you want from me? - John Crichton Summary:
The scene fades in to show John and the others in a transport pod. Aeryn relays that D'Argo and Rygel have reported from the Command Carrier and that Scorpius is sending Marauders to escort them the rest of the way in. Chiana and Jool are both unhappy to be going to the Command Carrier but Pilot reports that Moya is in hiding with Talyn and they are too far away for them to return. He also says that Moya is under great stress. The Marauders arrive and escort the pod into the Command Carrier's hanger bay. Everyone exits to find Scorpius and a large number of Peacekeepers waiting for them. Aeryn twists John's thumb and Scorpius winces in pain, proving that the bracelets are working. Scorpius then welcomes them aboard and grants them full diplomatic immunities and courtesies while on board. "At last." he tells John, "The rift between us is finally bridged." Later, John and Crais are in the captain's quarters with Scorpius and Braca. Scorpius wants to know why John agreed to help him and says that according to Rygel he preferred the Peacekeepers to the Scarrans. John agrees and also says that Aeryn, D'Argo and the others have been through a lot for him and that he owed it to them. He tells Scorpius to give them what they want and Scorpius agrees. Crais then says that he wants Talyn brought on board for a system replacement. Braca objects and Scorpius is opposed to bringing a gunship on board but Crais points out that Talyn is inoperative and that he wants his weaponry removed. Braca continues to object and John threatens him but Scorpius agrees. Crais says that he wants Lt. Larell to help him with Talyn. Scorpius seems surprised and asks why and Crais says it is only because she is the best qualified. Scorpius agrees and Crais and Braca leave. Scorpius then tells John that the others are in the officers' lounge and asks if John wants to join them. John declines, saying that he came to work. Scorpius wonders if he came to work for or against him. In the lounge a number of Peacekeepers have gathered and one of them, Lt. Reljik is complaining that they should be executing the criminals instead of welcoming them aboard. The door opens and Aeryn, Chiana and the others enter. All conversation stops. A Peacekeeper calls Aeryn a traitor as she goes to get a drink. Scorpius leads John to the main lab where they are met by Co-Kura Strappa. Co-Kura is happy to see John and shows him a workstation they have set up for him. John examines the workstation and says that it is "limited" then goes to the main station where he picks up a chair and throws it at his station, destroying it. He tells Scorpius that he did not come to "assist" and that Scorpius either gives him full access or sends him home. Scorpius moves to calm John down. Elsewhere, Braca leads Crais though the ship, past several Peacekeepers who mutter curses as they pass. Braca tells Crais that the mood on the ship is very hostile and that most of the crew think that Crais abused his command, as does he. He shows Crais his quarters and comments that they are less than he was used to but that since he should be in the brig he shouldn't complain. Crais starts looking around and Braca says that the room isn't bugged because Crais isn't that important. Crais finally turns to Braca and says that he predicted that Braca would rise in the Peacekeeper organization because he is a "Consummate Peacekeeper". Braca recognizes the insult and leaves. Back in the lounge Aeryn, D'Argo and Jool are sitting together. Tension in the room is still high. Jool asks D'Argo how long he was a prisoner on the ship and D'Argo tells her it was eight cycles. She then asks Aeryn if she was born on this ship and Aeryn says she was. Jool says that it must have been awful and Aeryn has a flashback to her and two other Peacekeepers sitting at a table in the same room. They are playing some sort of gambling game and obviously having a good time. The flashback ends and Aeryn says that it wasn't awful. Chiana approaches the table where Lt. Reljik and several others are playing a card game. Chiana tries to introduce herself and join them but Reljik kicks her chair away before she can sit down. She then tries turning her seductive charms on him but he simply becomes angrier, calling her a Nebari tralk. D'Argo arrives and Lt. Reljik says that he knows D'Argo married a Sebacean woman then murdered her. D'Argo starts to lose his temper and Aeryn moves towards him, trying to defuse the situation. He and Reljik continue to stare at each other. They are interrupted by Braca who orders Reljik to back down. He does so, obviously against his desire. Rygel then calls to Braca and says that since John is there he owes him the information on the current Hynerian situation. Braca hands him a data chip. D'Argo then tells Braca he owes him something too and Braca says that they are ready and that he can have the operation whenever he wants. Braca starts to leave but D'Argo stops him, saying that he wanted something else as well. Braca says they are having trouble finding the information and D'Argo tells him to work faster. Henta, one of the Peacekeepers from Aeryn's flashback, appears and approaches Aeryn, seemingly surprised but happy to see her and saying that she had heard Aeryn was back but didn't believe it until she saw her. Aeryn also seems happy to see Henta and hands her a drink. Henta holds it for a moment before throwing it back in Aeryn's face, saying that she only drinks with Peacekeepers. Henta walks off and the other Peacekeepers in the room laugh. Aeryn seems stunned. Back in the lab, Co-Kura is telling John about their latest experiments and John recognizes that they are trying to solve the problem of their pilots liquefying. Co-Kura is surprised John knows about the problem and John says that he saw it happen when Linfer tried to defect to Moya. Scorpius asks what he learned from Linfer and John admits that she didn't say much before she died. John asks for some equations and Co-Kura and Scorpius both hesitate. John again becomes angry and says that he can't help unless they give him full access and Scorpius indicates to Co-Kura that he should do so. Holographic data appears above the display and John begins studying it. Some time later, John enters the medical facility where a Peacekeeper doctor is removing the rings from D'Argo's collarbones. Aeryn and Jool are here as well. The doctor finishes and tells D'Argo to remain where he is for a while so the mist in the room will promote healing. John and Aeryn move to one side and Aeryn says that they can talk in the medical facility since the healing mist interferes with the surveillance equipment. He asks how she is doing and she responds that she would prefer to be somewhere else. She then asks the same of him and he admits to having problems. His original plan had been to erase all of Scorpius' wormhole data but he can't figure out how to do so. He then thought to steer Scorpius in the wrong direction but he isn't sure what the wrong direction is. He is now considering simply running for it. Aeryn is surprised to hear this and he tells her that he isn't quite ready to give up yet but to tell the others not to get too comfortable. Aeryn assures him that they won't. Back in the lounge, Reljik and several other Peacekeepers are discussing D'Argo. Reljik decides that D'Argo needs to be taught a lesson and asks another Peacekeeper if he still has the device he used in an earlier battle. D'Argo and Jool are still in the medical facility when the Peacekeeper appears, a power saw strapped to one arm. D'Argo tries to ignore him but the Peacekeeper drags him to his feet. He then tries to use his tongue strike but the Peacekeeper dodges out of the way. The Peacekeeper and D'Argo then begin to fight, with D'Argo mainly trying to avoid being cut in half by the saw. The fight continues for a bit with even Jool getting a few punches in and being thrown against the wall at one point. The combatants have made their way to a raised platform when the Peacekeeper gets too close to the edge and loses his balance. D'Argo makes a grab for him but has to dodge a final swing of the saw and the Peacekeeper falls to the floor below. He lands on the saw and is killed. Reljik and several other Peacekeepers enter and glare at D'Argo. Some time later, Scorpius and Braca have arrived as have John and Aeryn. Scorpius is berating Reljik and tells him that if anything else happens he will have Reljik executed. Reljik leaves but does not look too concerned. John asks why he and the others shouldn't just leave and Scorpius hurries to try to calm him down. D'Argo announces that he is returning to Moya with Chiana, Jool and Rygel. Braca is opposed to this saying that it will remove John's incentive to help them but John points out that the fewer of them there are around the less likely they will have a problem with the rest of the Command Carrier's crew. Scorpius agrees and tells Braca to give D'Argo the data chip he has. Braca does, grudgingly, saying that it has the latest information on Macton they have available. D'Argo thanks him and leaves. Elsewhere, Crais is in his quarters and studying some printouts when Lt. Larell arrives. He asks her if she has any problems working with him since he lost his command and she says she does not. She then adds that she knows Scorpius forced him out of his command and that she never changed her feelings about him. She grabs his face and kisses him. After a moment she pulls back and tells him that Scorpius knows about their past; he put her in the Aurora chair and she was forced to tell him everything. She also says that Scorpius wants her to spy on Crais and report back to him. Crais is unsurprised, saying that he expected everyone he knew to be spying on him. Larell asks if he hates her and he says he does not. She asks the same question and he responds the same way. They grab each other and enter into a fierce kiss. Back in the lab, John is again studying the wormhole display and some notes. He observes that they are using the entire hull of the Command Carrier as a repeater and Co-Kura confirms it. John seems intrigued by this information. Scorpius arrives and asks why they are not making progress and John says it is because they keep getting interrupted. Scorpius accuses John of holding back information, either consciously or unconsciously, and suggests that maybe John should let him try to pull out the information again. John becomes angry and says that as long as Scorpius only plans to use the technology against the Scarrans he doesn't care but he isn't sure that he can trust him. Scorpius produces a data chip and gives it to John. He says that it contains the information on his life from before he joined the Peacekeepers and will show John why he hates the Scarrans so much.
Later, John and Aeryn are in a park-like area that Aeryn says is a planetary surface simulator used for combat training. John asks Aeryn if the Scarrans are as dangerous as Scorpius says and she admits that everyone was taught the same thing. John wonders if the Peacekeepers will be able to keep the Scarrans away without wormhole technology and Aeryn tells him that doing so isn't his problem and that he should concentrate on the problem at hand. John, seeming distracted, says that the equations are coming to him, but slowly. He says that he may be there for a while and that Aeryn may not want to stay. In the hanger bay Crais, Larell and Braca are observing Talyn. Braca seems concerned but Crais assures him that Talyn is powered down and Larell agrees with him. Crais boards Talyn and, after he leaves, Braca asks Larell if Crais believed her. She says he did. Later, inside Talyn, Larell asks Crais about the neural interface with Talyn and why he was willing to give it up. Crais says that Talyn would not be commanded and she observes that the same was true of him. Crais points out that because of that he lost his command. She then asks if he regretted leaving the Peacekeepers and he says his only regret was not trying to take her with him. She says she would not have gone. Not then. Back on Moya, everyone is on Command and Rygel is reviewing the chip he got from Braca. It confirms that Bashir is in disfavor back on Hyneria and Rygel is excited, thinking the time is right for him to return home. While he speaks, Chiana has another of her visions and calls out to Pilot. Pilot says there is no problem but then suddenly announces that several Prowlers and Marauders are heading towards them. Moya attempts to Starburst but is seconds too late and is hit by an energy burst from one of the attacking ships. Back on the Command Carrier, Aeryn is again attempting to talk to Henta. Henta calls Aeryn a traitor for leaving the Peacekeepers and Aeryn points out that she had to leave after Crais declared her irreversibly contaminated. Henta replies that she could have returned after Crias was disgraced but Aeryn says that by then she didn't want to return. Henta says that this does make her a traitor. Aeryn disagrees, saying that at worst she is a deserter. She starts to tell Henta why she didn't return but before she can begin an announcement is heard saying that a captured Leviathan is being brought in. Aeryn takes off running. John is in the lab discussing some equations that Linfer had developed. Co-Kura says that he regrets her death and John agrees, saying that he liked her and that Co-Kura apparently did too. Something seems to come to him and, taking a pen from a lab assistant, he starts writing an equation on the palm of his hand, showing it to Co-Kura as he does so. Before he can follow up on the new equation though they are interrupted by the arrival of Aeryn who tells him that Moya has been captured. Both take off running In the docking bay, Lt. Reljik asks why Moya and her crew have been taken prisoner against Scorpius' orders. Commandant Mele-on Grayza appears and says she gave the order. She recognizes Reljik and comments that he has been decorated three times by High Command and he is pleased that she recognized him. She tells him to take charge of the prisoners. John and Aeryn attempt to reach Scorpius' quarters and are blocked by two Peacekeeper guards. They knock them out and take their weapons. Scorpius is in his quarters facing Grayza and a Luxan, who she introduces as the Luxan ambassador. The Luxans have signed a mutual defense pact with the Peacekeepers and the ambassador is attempting to get other worlds to sign similar pacts. However, half the worlds they visit are afraid of the Peacekeepers while the other half laugh at them because they cannot capture a handful of escaped criminals. Scorpius asks why they care about alliances with worlds in the Uncharted Territories and Grayza tells him that they need a show of strength because they are negotiating a truce with the Scarrans. Scorpius is angered by this, saying the wormhole project is all the strength they need. Grayza responds by saying the wormhole project is being canceled since its existence threatens any chance of a truce. This stuns Scorpius who says that such an attempt at appeasement threatens the Peacekeepers and everyone else as well. Meanwhile, John and Aeryn are continuing on to Scorpius' quarters. Braca attempts to stop them, saying that Scorpius had noting to do with Moya's capture. John doesn't believe him and, taking Braca's gun, shoves him into Scorpius' quarters. Inside, John points his pulse rifle at Scorpius and tells him to release Moya. Scorpius says he was not who captured her and Grayza says that she did. John pulls Braca's pulse pistol and points it at her. She lets him know that she knows who he is and that she cannot keep Scorpius' agreement with him. Scorpius activates the ship's comms and addresses the crew, telling them to release the prisoners. He then tells Braca to have a security detail escort Grayza and the Luxan ambassador off the ship. Grayza accepts this but tells him that he should not have made her an enemy and tells John that he should not have pointed a gun at him. She leaves. "Damn." says John. "I gotta stop pointing guns at people." John gives his pulse rife to Scorpius and asks for a comm channel to Moya. Pilot says that Moya will not accept a control collar and John says she won't have to. Scorpius agrees. Grayza arrives in the docking bay and tells Reljik to release the prisoners. He is surprised but does so. Later, in his quarters, Reljik is contacted by Grayza over an encrypted comm. She tells him that she wants Scorpius removed from command but that official channels would take too long. Reljik tells her that most of the crew would support her. She then adds that she is concerned for Scorpius' safety. Reljik says that Scorpius is well protected but that the bracelet makes him vulnerable through John. Grayza then says that she is concerned for John's safety too. Some time later, everyone is in the lounge. Jool and Rygel are playing a game with one of the Peacekeepers and seem to be losing. Aeryn is again talking with Henta who asks if she has abandoned all of the Peacekeeper ideals. Aeryn says no, that she still believes in loyalty, sacrifice and honor and that not all Peacekeepers believe in those. Henta says she does. Aeryn asks if Henta ever thinks she is fighting for the wrong cause. Henta says no. Aeryn then indicates Scorpius and asks if she ever thinks she is following the wrong leaders. Scorpius is talking with D'Argo who cannot believe the Luxans have signed an agreement with the Peacekeepers. Scorpius tries to assure him that the agreement is only that they would come to each other's aid in the event of a Scarran attack; they otherwise remain autonomous. D'Argo wonders how long that will last. Later still, John is in the medical area talking with Aeryn. He says he is starting to understand the wormhole equations the Ancients implanted in his mind and that he can screw up Scorpius' research for years. However, he is no longer sure that doing so is the right thing to do. Aeryn is surprised and points out that the other John gave his life to protect the equations. John agrees but says that the other John didn't know what he does; he didn't know Scorpius' past and didn't see Scorpius risk everything to protect them from Grayza. Aeryn says that she will support John no matter what he decides but that he needs to decide something. On Talyn, Larell suddenly tells Crais that he can return to the Peacekeepers. Crais laughs at this, saying that Scorpius hates him. Larell says that the wormhole project means everything to Scorpius and that if he can force John to give Scorpius what he wants then Scorpius may forgive him. Crais considers this. John and Aeryn are somewhere in the Command Carrier when Aeryn realizes that they are being followed. They duck into a room containing numerous columns of what look like stacked cubes. The cubes each have a glowing object in the center and Aeryn identifies it as a power center. Somewhere behind them, a Peacekeeper reports to Reljik that he has found John. The Peacekeeper appears and attacks John. John draws his pulse pistol but Aeryn says that it is dangerous to use it inside the power center. John and the Peacekeeper fight. John takes several good hits and Scorpius feels them as well. Scorpius yells for Braca to find John. John eventually defeats his opponent but Reljik appears. John finds a jetpack of some kind and begins flying around the room. Reljik gets one as well and follows him. There is another fight which ends when Reljik is thrown into one of the power generators and killed. John almost loses control of his jetpack but Aeryn rescues him. John goes to Scorpius and demands that he get his crew under control. Scorpius tells him that they are out of time; Grayza will shut down the project unless he can prove to High Command that he is making progress. He thinks John is holding back information and demands that he work harder to help him. Scorpius grabs John and slams his head down on a table. He then activates a holographic display and John sees an image of Earth. John says that Scorpius took the image from his mind but Scorpius denies it; from John's memory of star positions they have managed to locate Earth and have visually confirmed its location. Even without wormholes, the Peacekeepers could reach Earth in 60 cycles. Scorpius tells John that if he does not start helping him, he will make sure John lives long enough to see the Earth destroyed. References:John's decision to destroy the wormhole project came at the end of Fractures. The other John prevented the Scarrans from getting the wormhole equations (at the cost of his own life) in Icarus Abides (Infinite Possibilities: Part 2). The I-Yensch You-Yensch bracelets (which cause John and Scorpius to feel each other's pain) were introduced in I-Yensch You-Yensch"/> We learned of Scorpius' history, which is revealed to John here, in Incubator"/>. D'Argo has been searching for Macton, the Peacekeeper who killed his wife, for some time. He was first mentioned in They've Got a Secret. Chiana's visions of the future began after she was possessed by the energy parasite in Losing Time. She has previously had visions in Fractures and I-Yensch You-Yensch. Talyn destroyed a hospital ship, forcing the crew to shut down his higher functions, in I-Yensch You-Yensch. Rygel mentions Orrhn, another Hynerian who told him of the situation on Hyneria. She was one of the prisoners (and a double agent) in Fractures. References:Is what Scorpius says about the Scarrans true? Does he truly only plan to use wormhole technology to protect the rest of the galaxy from them? Is Grayza correct in her belief that a truce is possible with the Scarrans? Is the existence of the wormhole project really a threat to that truce? Will John help Scorpius with his project, or will he stay with his original plan to destroy it? What was Aeryn going to tell Henta as the reason for her not returning to the Peacekeepers when she could? What are Lt. Larell's true feelings towards Crais? Is she loyal to him, or to Scorpius? Commentary:First, the good news. John has found someone who knows where Earth is. The bad news? It's Scorpius. But that discovery doesn't come until the end of the episode and a lot happens in the meantime, so let's get started. John is continuing with his plan to sabotage Scorpius' wormhole project. He has come aboard Scorpius' own Command Carrier to do so; something that is obviously a great risk to both himself and his friends. It is an obvious sign of how close he and the others have come over their years together in that they are willing to follow him "into the lion's den". Almost immediately things start going wrong. It seems as if Scorpius' crew doesn't quite share his interest in John and the others and they aren't slow to let their feelings be known. D'Argo and Rygel take this in stride. After all, they were prisoners of the Peacekeepers for years. The two most affected by the animosity of the crew are Chiana and Aeryn. Chiana tries to fit in as she always does but this time her overtures are not accepted or appreciated. This may be because of her companions or because of the well-known Peacekeeper prejudice against non-Sebaceans. Either way she is soundly rejected. This may be the first time she has ever encountered such direct rejection; she certainly seems stunned by it. This is a hint of something we have not known about Chiana before. Chiana has on many occasions told the others that she can take care of herself; that she can "kiss, kick or cry" her way out of any situation. But, can she? Is Chiana really as streetwise and capable as she thinks she is? Or, is she still a bit immature; a bit less ready to face a hostile universe on its own terms than she believes herself to be? Her confidence certainly took a hit here and only the timely arrival of D'Argo and a more timely arrival of Braca prevented things from getting worse. It will be interesting to see how Chiana reacts in the future. But the hit Chiana took is nothing compared to what Aeryn goes through. For a long time Aeryn wanted to return to the Peacekeepers. Even after it became obvious that her place was now with the others on Moya there were still moments of sadness or homesickness on her part. The Peacekeepers had been her life and she had lost it. She slowly found a new life with John and the others and eventually accepted it completely with the John on Talyn. Then, that John was killed and her new life shattered. Yes, there is still a John around but it is not her John. She is following his lead here, probably mainly because she has direct first-hand knowledge of the power of wormholes, but he is probably also a constant reminder of what she has lost. And now she is faced with a reminder of her first loss as well.Bothof her lives, the one with the Peacekeepers and the one with John, are now here before her and she no longer belongs to either one. Henta's rejection of her, the loss of what certainly seems to have been a very close friend, is just another part of her life that has been stripped from her. Aeryn, more than anyone else on Moya, has suffered. It is amazing that she is still functioning. Perhaps this is the last of her Peacekeeper heritage showing though. She tells Henta that she still holds the Peacekeeper ideals of "loyalty, sacrifice and honor". Is this what lets her keep going? Very probably. She is loyal to John and the others on Moya so she is following John's lead no matter where it goes. She is also staying loyal to "her" John and his sacrifice. The John on Talyn sacrificed himself to prevent the wormhole information from falling into Scarran hands; could she do any less? Finally, it is her honor that prevents any of this from showing. Her honor tells her she must continue onward, to continue to help her friends. Anything less would violate that honor; even to give in to the pain she obviously feels. All she has is what is left of her Peacekeeper heritage. John is in a different situation than all the others. He is really the only one that Scorpiuswantsto be there so Scorpius is treating him civilly. Well, civilly for Scorpius anyway. And John's motivations may not be clear even to himself. His original plan was to destroy the wormhole project but now he seems to be faltering in that resolve. John is, first of all, a scientist. He has been forced to become a warrior, a soldier, in order to survive in the Uncharted Territories but his core self is still a scientist. And, he is obsessed with wormholes. Now, he is suddenly in a situation where the secret of wormholes may be within his grasp. Scorpius wants a weapon but John wants knowledge. And the knowledge is starting to come to him. He also now knows why Scorpius has been so driven for the wormhole knowledge and he is being forced to admit that maybe, just maybe, Scorpius is right. Of course, everything goes pear-shaped when Grayza shows up. Grayza is from High Command, which is apparently a bit less thrilled with Scorpius' research than we have been led to believe. Grayza apparently doesn't agree with Scorpius' opinion of the Scarran situation and wants to sacrifice the wormhole project in an effort to boost her own plans, even though Scorpius continues to insist that the Scarrans cannot be appeased. This leads to another theme which has been developing. Some years before the outbreak of World War II, the British government under Neville Chamberlain pursued a policy of "appeasement" towards the Nazi government of Germany. The hope was that Germany would leave England alone if it took no action towards Germany's activities on the continent. History shows how successful that policy was. The fact that the mindscape in which John meets with Harvey has been a World War II setting seems to support this and also suggests that Grayza's policy towards the Scarrans may have equally unfortunate results. The wormhole project itself also has a parallel with World War II in the Manhattan project which created the atomic bomb. The atomic bomb was the ultimate weapon of devastating capability and the threat of its use affected world politics through the decades of the Cold War. Wormhole technology would have a similar effect on the politics of the galaxy. A few more comments on Grayza. It is unclear as to if her opposition to the wormhole project and support of a treaty between the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans is the result of a true belief that it is possible and a dedication to peace or if it is a political ploy on her part. It may be both. (If my World War II analogy is correct then she probably does think a treaty with the Scarrans is possible and desirable. Which doesn't mean she doesn't have a political agenda as well.) Finally, what is Grayza? She doesn't look Sebacean; at least not full-blooded Sebacean. Is she a mixed breed like Scorpius? Given what we know of Peacekeeper attitudes towards half-breeds it is unlikely that she is one; especially given her obvious position of power. Still it seems a bit odd, as does the strangely cleavage-baring outfit she is wearing. Her outfit looks as if it would be more appropriate for Chiana than for a high-ranking Peacekeeper officer. Still, Grayza's opposition to the wormhole project may produce the very results that John has been working towards. Scorpius realizes this and is doing everything he can to get John's cooperation. He risks everything by releasing Moya and the prisoners over Grayza's orders, almost certainly knowing full well what the eventual results will be. When that doesn't produce the results he wants he pulls out his final bit of leverage. He won't use Moya and the others against John since he gave his word he would not. (Apparently Scorpius has his own sense of honor.) But, he can use the Earth. Earth has been found. It is a long ways away, 60 cycles even at the fastest speeds possible, but its location is known. And now John has something new to worry about. The Peacekeepers know where Earth is. If the Scarrans can somehow get that information (and given that they know John Crichton is important, they may have spies searching for just that sort of information) then they too will know. John must now face the knowledge that if he helps the Peacekeepers then they someday, not soon but someday, will find their way to Earth. If he does not help them then it may be the Scarrans who show up. Whatever he does here will now affect his home. The stakes have been raised. How will he react? This is an excellent episode. Many plot threads, some of them years old, are beginning to come together while new ones are starting to appear. It seems as if many changes are coming to the Farscape universe. Where will they go from here? We can only wait and see. Farscape and all related characters and elements are © & ™ by The Jim Henson Co. Ltd. All rights reserved.
