Since 1997, I have been a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, a patriotic, educational organization, composed of descendants of Union veterans. I am Past Commander of the Phil Sheridan Camp No. 4 of San José, California, and Past Commander & current Councilman and Signals Officer of the Department of California and Pacific. I have also served on the National Committee on History.
