Syntel Design has specialized in developing software for embedded systems. We are experts in C, C++, Java, and assembly language, and have used all these languages in embedded systems. We’ve made extensive use of RTOSs in the embedded systems we’ve developed. Our embedded system software is characterized by high performance, high reliability, highly efficient resource utilization, innovative techniques, and strong adherence to standards. We’ve developed embedded system software for integrated circuit testing, air pollution monitoring, and test fixtures.

We are also very experienced in developing desktop application software for Linux, Java, and Windows. Our application software has typically been written in C, C++, and Java, although we have considerable experience with other languages, such as Pascal. Our application programs make use of multithreading where appropriate, feature clean, intuitive user interfaces, offer exceptional run-time performance and reliability, and make efficient use of system resources.

We have considerable experience developing software specifically geared to communicate with embedded systems, such as remote user interfaces and test fixture control software.

We are experienced at developing device drivers for both embedded systems and high level operating systems.

We have developed software utilizing many communication mediums and protocols, including TCP/IP, MODBUS, I2C, and RS-232/485. We are experts at implementing robust communication protocols.

We have developed many sophisticated test suites to test libraries and communication protocols.
