COURSE DESCRIPTION


In depth examination of issues and problems which deal with the theory and practice of the management of telecommunications and usage of resources. Managing the aspects of data and voice communications systems. Emphasis on issues of planning, project management, operations, security, end-user communications costs, effective management of telecommunications technology to meet organizational needs, managing telecommunications professionals, costing of service, organizational structure and perspective.


This course will cover


The over all aim of this course is to provide general understanding of Telecommunications Resources Management and Acquisitions in an enterprise environment. At the completion of this course, student will be able to do the following:

This course will provide instruction through a combination of lecture, research papers, exercises, and case analysis. Class discussion and exploration of interesting detail will be encouraged. See sample presentation .
