Juju, Pa & Olivia went to the Oakland Zoo with Molly while visiting earlier in the Fall.

My brother, Mike, sister-in-law Helen, and my mom, Jackie went to China in December to adopt their daughter, Lola. These are some photos of their wonderful experience meeting & bringing her home.

Mike and Lola, who loved her new "bracelet" toy. The babies had a 16 hour ride to where they met the new parents, and Lola fell asleep in Mike's arms soon after this photo was taken.

During their time in China, finalizing paperwork, sightseeing, and bonding with the other adoptive families, they took Lola out to many places such as the flower mart.

Before getting Lola, the three toured sites including The Great Wall - which was VERY cold and snowy.

A tired, but still active, Lola takes a couple of assisted steps in the arrival area at SFO. She had taken two on her own in the days before leaving China, and now is unstoppable.

Mike got to meet her a few days later, when she was well settled in Los Gatos and loving all the exciting foods she is eating.

These outdoor photos are some that I was able to take on a visit during one of Mike's trips to Stanford when we stayed with Mike, Helen & Lola.

Michael Clinton Reem was born January 3, 2006 in Minnesota to Mike's sister Molly & Brett. Technically, he was five weeks early, but was happy, healthy, and an impressive 7 lbs. 14 oz.

I think this shot is so wonderful because he is in the exact same position at home that he was when he was in the hospital in the incubator.

We were lucky to have Molly & Olivia visit for an extended period of time last year, and then be able to have Brett and them back out for Christmas as well. (And we're happy they all made it home before Molly delivered Michael!) We all thought Olivia was so small, but in comparison, we now realize how much she has grown!
