Here are a few pictures during my fleet days with VF-84 and doing flight test with VX-30 We did a cover shot for Aviation week in 1993 showing the different F-14 configurations (Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground, and Armed Recon).  I'm in the lead aircraft (the one at the bottom of the page). Taking a break between flights (I am second from the left).  We are getting ready to flight test a DARPA project called AMSTE which involves using GPS guided weapons (JDAM as you can see in this instance----hanging on the bottom of the plane) to hitting moving targets using ground moving target indicator. I took this picture during the second flight of the tactical Tomahawk.  I was training the lead (F-14 in the picture).  I was fortunate to chase and hand-fly the 1st tactical tomahawk flight. This is one of our F-14 JDAM test flights.  I was involved with integrating JDAM onto the F-14B and F-14D.
