December 14, 2004: Bold Desperado has been confirmed by UC Davis to be homozygous for the black gene, he cannot sire chestnut
foals. He will also sire 50% true black foals when bred to black mares and 25% black foals to black-producing chestnut or
bay mares.
November, 2004: Nominated to the Scottsdale Signature Stallion Auction for 2005
This exciting stallion by USAE's #1 Arabian Sire Desperado V out of the Bask* granddaughter Bold Allegra is the image
of his sire, and is throwing tall, elegant, correct babies with the Desperado V head, exceptional conformation and tremendous
athleticism. Bold Desperado was a Class A halter winner his first time shown, qualifying for the Region IV finals in his
debut appearance. His first foals started showing on the East Coast as 2 year olds in 2003. LR Desperado's Dance won 7 out
of 8 times shown his first year in halter and has consistently remained at the very top of his classes in 2004 and 2005, winning
over both partbreds and purebreds The first crop are now all under saddle, with Bodes Aly Pizazz doing very well in Western
Pleasure on the East Coast in 2005, LR Desperado's Dance bringing home ribbons in WP and Trail, and Berry Bold has been showing
in the new Sporthorse division. Dash is now a Champion sire, his Anglo Arab son, Beauld Rgf was Reserve Champion in Sporthorse
in Hand on the Arabian circuit in Oregon, and was named Champion Hunter Breeding- Colts & Geldings and Reserve Champion
Best Young Horse, ( Open, over warmbloods) in Sept, 2005 at the NW Sporthorse Breeder's Classic in Tacoma, WA. We congratulate
their owners on their successes.
The conception rate has been consistantly greater than 90% on the 1st cycle with shipped semen. Early booking discounts
and consideration to proven mares are available.
Halter and performance incentives are offered for offspring with Regional and National Top Five and Top Ten placings.
2006 fees are $1250 for Arabian mares and $500 for all others with $250 booking and the first collection included.
Dash is a Sweepstakes Nominated Sire, a Scottsdale Signature Stallion in 2005, Pinto Listed and SCID clear.
All foals are eligible for regsistration as either purebred or Half-Arabian and for nomination to the Breeders Sweepstakes
to earn cash awards throughout their lifetimes.
We're offering special incentives to Warmblood mares, and also for QH and APHA mares from proven reining and cutting lines.
Dash has not just one but two sire-brothers who have been multiple National Champions in Reining and he is an excellent outcross
for the Xenophon (Hesa Zee, Zee Mega Bucks) and other reining lines.
