Right on time! Within 24 hours of her due date, Sonnata presented us with a gorgeous bright bay/white filly. Third bay
baby in a row, Sonnata hasn't thrown a grey yet. She's Randomize's first Sweepstakes baby and also eligible for RPSI and Pinto
registrations. Mom and filly are doing fine.

Karen J. and Beauld RgF went to their first dressage show as a team and made a big splash! 71.5% and a blue ribbon in
their first class!
Way to go Karen and Beau!

It's a boy!
June 14, 2007, two weeks early, the Palladio daughter Palazzo Civenna CF has presented us wih a big,
robust minimal white colt. His markings are very similar to Chance's first foal last year, (Rebound RgF), splash on the right
shoulder, high whites with dark feet all around and a stripe near the top of his tail. He's the first to be born without Chance's
trademark chin spot, but we're pretty sure it's his anyway. Pix on the 2007 foals page.

She's here! The first international foal was born in Toronto late the 22nd. A healthy bright bay tobiano filly, her dam's

Congratulations Gail!

December 2006
It's been a busy summer and fall. Chance's first foal crop has been very exciting from coast to coast. Not just lots of
spots, which we expected, but uniformly wonderful temperaments, size and conformation. This year gave us mostly fillies with
tons of character and surprisingly interesting muzzle markings, ermine spots and lots of dark feet with white legs. Breeding
is always full of surprises. We have his first international foal expected near Toronto in '07 and settle rate of more than
90% for shipped semen this year.
September brought a marathon of travel for the RPSI inspection, hosted by friends Andrea and David Clibborn-Anderson's
Crestline Farm in Washington. Both of our fillies out of TB mares earned Silver Premiums. The filly out of the Arab cross
mare took an injury in transit and wasn't judged, but has recovered fully. Both of the TB's went into the Main Mare Book and
Words of Concern impressed sufficiently to bring the private comment from one of the inspectors later that if she'd been presented
at 7 instead of 17, she'd have gone into the Premium Book. Our Arab cross mare, TPF Giselle, scored just behind her. Chance
was recorded into RPSI Book II with very respectable scores and very encouraging comments by the German inspectors about his
mind and temperament, ("He thinks!"), and potential as a hunter sire. Chance's oldest filly, registered as Rebound
RgF, went to a wonderful new owner in South Carolina. She and I bit our fingernails to the bone during the 5 day journey with
delays and weather, Alia, ( now Dylan), handled the trip like a trooper.
So we're looking forward to next year. More Chance babies and showing. Hopefully we'll be more of a presence on the Arabian
sporthorse circuit as well as the hunter ring and dressage for Chance, this year's purebred colt by Bold Desperado is 13 hands
at 6 months old, the 1/2 Arab filly by Ideal, Implicit RgF, will be two and shown in hand, Diego Bey RgF is 3, under saddle
and doing very well, his trot is still breathtaking. His brothers, purebred Bold Aidol RgF and Anglo Arab Beauld RgF are also
both under saddle and coming along wonderfully. We hope that their owners will continue to have fun and join us at the Arabians
in Motion show in March.
Happy New Year, everyone.

March 20, 2006 Randomize's first foal is a filly! The big healthy minimal white tobiano was born early on the first day of
Spring. You can see her on the 2006 Foals page. Her dam is a solid bay with the 'erasing white' gene that minimizes the expression
of white markings, so the extent of her markings is not unexpected, but her size, conformation and sweet temperament are very
welcome.
