Washu: Hey, how did you manage to get in here?
Well, never mind. Since you're here, you can lend me a hand with a little problem I have.
It all started while I was doing studies on an interesting person named Okita Souji from the end of the Tokogawa dynasty. I found his DNA to be unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Being the super genius that I am, I decided to make some clones to help my studies.
Unfortunately, somebody left the door open to my lab. Mihoshi got in and started playing "musical wires" with my equipment. I don't think I need to say that the experiment did not go as planned. When the smoke finally cleared, my lab was in ruins and all the clones had escaped into my dimensional travel machine!
Being the greatest scientist in the universe, my failsafe guard around the original kept him from escaping. Unfortunately, all the other clones had been sent through not only time and space, but dimensions! Since such powerful clones could totally disrupt the world they landed in (especially if Mihoshi's data got mixed in them) I've been attempting to track down all the clones to keep tabs on them and remove any troublemakers.
So you're probably wondering why the greatest scientist in the universe would need help with a simple task like this. Well, normally I would just set up a machine to scan for matches to Okita's DNA. Unfortunately Mihoshi's bungling and the shift through dimensions caused differences in the genetic patterns of the clones. Plus, with the extent of the damage to my lab and cloning device, I'm not certain just how many clones are out there. And, as much as I hate to admit it, those clones are rather clever and don't want to be caught.
So, help me out! If you notice anybody that strikes a resemblance to Okita over there, contact me! I'm going to need some help to get all these crazy clones under control.
These are the case studies I have so far. If you notice someone who strikes a resemblance to any of these, check to see if his behavior has any common traits. If he does, then it might be one of my missing clones.
