pounds, was 16 inches in diameter. A tuber to remember! |
...preparing to grow
into a oddly beautiful, strong-smelling, large pink and burgundy
bloom in February and March.

Here they are
at the ending of the bloom early spring.
These are medium
sized tubers.

After one summer outside, it had cloned
itself into two monsters and several medium sized tubers... In
1999 I decided to leave them all in the ground for the winter,
covered up with lots of compost and leaves.
Guess what happened?
THEY TURNED INTO MUSH!! |

This is the leaf form of
the Amorph, mid-summer, almost 5 feet tall. On the right is a
bloom, stinky!
