"Sunny Buns"

6 cups popped popcorn
1/2 c. toasted almond slivers
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda

Heat oven to 250. Spread popcorn in 15 x 10x 1in. baking pan; sprinkle almonds over popcorn. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, 2 tbsp water, corn syrup and salt; bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 2 min. stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda; mix well. Pour over popcorn and almonds; toss until coated. Bake at 250 for 15 min. Stir. Continue baking for an additional 15 min. Immediately spread on foil or waxed paper to cool.

Property of MHC Registered Graphics 12 ozs semisweet chocolate chips -- melted
2 cups chow mein noodles
40 pcs M&M's chocolate baking bits

In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips. Stir in noodles. Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper. Add 2 pieces chocolate baking bits for eyes.

NOTE: Add 2 to 4 tablespoons water, if needed, to thin chocolate.

1 Teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon water
1/2 teaspoon cold cream
2 drops food coloring

Preparation : In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well.

Black Cat Cookies

Property of MHC Registered Graphics 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/3 c water
2 eggs
1 pk chocolate cake mix

: M&Ms plain chocolate candy
: Red hots

Preparation : Beat together peanut butter, eggs, and water. Gradually add cake mix. Mix well. Form dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten balls with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Pinch out 2 ears at top of cookie. Add M & M's (eyes) and red hots (nose). Press fork into dough to form whiskers.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

6 oz. white chocolate
1 pkg. (15.5 oz.) peanut nutter butter cookies
Chocolate chips

Melt white chocolate. Dip two-thirds of each cookie into melted candy, shaking gently to remove excess coating. Place on wire rack with waxed paper underneath. For eyes, place chocolate chip on cookie. Cool completely.

Chocolate frosting

In a mixing bowl, add blue food coloring to the chocolate frosting until black in color.
