14. The Origins of Life on Earth

A) Life arose on Earth from "seeding" by an existing universal life form at the formation of the planet.

B) Life arose on Earth from spontaneous generation from inanimate elements here on Earth.

C) Life arose on Earth from "seeding" by an existing life form that spontaneously generated elsewhere in our solar system.

D) Life arose on Earth by the Divine will of The Creator.

We await the discovery of an alien life from to determine if A, B or C is correct.

If life on Earth was the result of seeding by an existing life form that spontaneously generated elsewhere in our solar system, than life elsewhere in our solar system should be structured on the same principles.

If life arose independently on Earth, than there may be major differences.

We will must await the discovery of a life form from outside the solar system to determine if life arose on Earth from "seeding" by an existing universal life form.

The possibility also exists that all life in the universe, no matter where it evolves, will follow the same pattern everywhere and will not be distinguishable from any other in its basic structure. If this is so, it would lead one to suspect and underlying universal "template" exists for life to follow.

For any of these questions to be answered an alien life form must first be discovered.

We await the "Second Coming" to see if D is correct.
